Alamak dinner dah dekat

Hari ni last day buat penilaian. Destinasi kali ni dekat aje, nun kat Bangi sana. So lepas ni focus on membuat laporan la pulak ye. Tapi maybe next week la baru start sebab esok and lusa ada training on new system. Pastu Friday ada Hari Inovasi and malamnya ada annual dinner kat Double Tree by Hilton. Dah tentulah kami yang di admin ni wajib pegi. Bertugas gitu. Haish..... bila lah boleh pegi event tanpa perlu jadi petugas ni???

Anyway, bercakap mengenai anuual dinner, I pakai baju keje je boleh tak? Tak de baju la. Eh bukan tak de baju, melambak dalam almari tu, cuma tak de baju baru je. I got 5 pasang kain yang belum ditempah. Ingat nak buat kebaya or kurung moden. Dah bertahun-tahun tak buat baju selain dari baju kurung so sekali sekala apa salahnya kan. Tu lah ingat sempat la buat untuk dinner ni tapi tak dapat la. Kalau baju kurung I got my own tailor. Tapi my tailor ni reti jahit baju kurung aje. Other than that memang dia tak reti. So kenalah I cari tailor lain. So ada sape-sape yang boleh suggest tailor yang best tak? Harga tu biarlah berpatutan ye. Thanks in advance.

So sementara itu kenalah fikir nak pakai baju apa malam tu. Pakai je la baju yang ada kan. Buat apa nak susah-susah fikir. Lagipun temanya adalah office attire. Hahaha.... Well pernah ke annual dinner kementerian ni yang mempunyai tema selain dari formal/batik? Hehehe...... Jangan marah nooooo urus setia. Dah nasib kita kan. Tak merasa la nak bertema-tema ni....

Kidney oh kidney.....

I am fasting today. I had a hard time deciding on what to eat for iftar. Finally after work pegi Alamanda to stock up on some foods; bread, sosej, daging burger, salad, tomatoes, thousand island, potato wedges, nuggets and instant noodles. It's been quite a while since I last bought all these items. Well except for bread la kan. Bila dah beli baru terfikir; all these adalah processed foods and sangatlah tidak baik untuk kesihatan. Tsk.... konon nak jaga kesihatan la so thats why dah lama tak beli. Tapi sekali beli amik nak macam nak makan 10 orang je. Hahaha...... Hai entah bila zaman la nak habiskan semua tu?????

Pagi tadi macam dah terinsaf kejap. Tapi terlupa pulak bila membeli. Nak tau, this morning I went to one of our agency untuk buat penilaian lagi lah kan. So ada sorang pegawai yang sambut and bagi opening speech. Lepas tu diorang jemput makan breakfast. I katalah I puasa. That officer cakap dia pun puasa. Puasa 3in1; nak ganti balik puasa masa zaman nakal-nakal dulu, puasa sunat hari Isnin and puasa sebab tak buat dialisis lagi. Rupa-rupanya both his kidney dah damaged so every alternate days dia akan buat dialisis. Dia kata kalau buat dialisis tak boleh minum air banyak sebab diorang dah tak boleh nak buang air. So masa dialisis la diorang buang air. Kadang-kadang sampai 5 kilo. Ye dia sebut 5 kilo tadi and bukan 5 liter. I guess bila buat dialisis berat jadi kurang la kot. Pastu ada benda-benda yang diorang tak boleh makan sebab kidney dah tak boleh nak processed benda tu; mainly foods with phosphate kalau tak silap. Contohnya buah-buahan dan kekacang. Ok jap I google foods high in phosphate.

• Cordials/fruit syrup beverages
• Chocolate, lollies, sweets, candy, and anything else with a high citric acid and sugar content

Erk...semuanya I suka makan. Lepas ni apa jelah yang boleh makan eh. That officer cakap kidney kita boleh rosak kalau ada diabetis, high blood pressure, kidney stone, kena sengat tebuan (tapi yang ni temporary je la) and ada lah few reason lagi. Fuh nampaknya I memang kena jaga my kidney elok-elok la sebab Abah kan ada diabetis. So I have high tendency untuk dapat juga. And my blood pressure memang already on the borderline since ages ago. Tak tau kenapa. Dah la kurang mium air. Walaupun the amount of plain water I drank adalah bertambah but still belum pada tahap yang recommended untuk daily intake.

Patutlah ignorance is bliss kan. Bila kita tak tau kita tak rasa apa. Tapi bila dah tau rasa risau aje. Nak makan apa-apa pun rasa macam takut je. Well kejap aje lah kot. Esok lusa belasah balik. Tau sangat dah Eny tu. Hehehe.... Tapi bagus jugak bila dah tau ni. At least boleh la beringat and boleh la amik precautionary act bila perlu. So kawan-kawan, jagalah kidney kita ye. Nanti rosak payah. Well bukan takat kidney ajelah tapi semualah yang ada kat badan ni. Jaga makan, jaga kesihatan, jaga perasaan, jaga semualah. 

Tetibe rasa macam tak nak makan je semua yang dah beli tadi tu....... Tsk....

Gatal miang

No..no.. bukan gatal miang nak kawin ke apa ye kawan-kawan. Ni tangan ni hah gatal-gatal dari semalam lagi. Bukan gatal nak dapat duit. Rasanya sebab kena miang lalang la. Eh lalang ada miang ke? Ada la kot kan. Kalau tak takkan la gatal merenyam je tangan I ni. Baru kena sikit dah gatal-gatal. Camno nak jadi gardener/farmer berjaya camni. Hahaha.....

Tapi serius tak leh tahan la. Puas menggaru dan menggosok. Nanti lebih-lebih melecet pulak. Kulit ni dah la manje. Hehehe.... Tapi kalau tanam pokok dalam pasu mana ada naik lalang kan. So tak pe aktiviti menanam masih boleh diteruskan. Nanti kalau dah pokok-pokok tu memberikan hasil yang lumayan, I bagi you all eh. Kasi free aje. So sila doakan agar pokok-pokok I hidup subur dan dipanjangkan usianya ye. Thank you.

But then, my balcony dah kotor la. Ada dirts and soils kat atas tiles tu. It looks very messy la. Macam pengotor je jadinya. Nanti orang kata I ni pemalas pulak. Well memanglah pemalas pun. Hahaha.... Ok nak sambuang buat keje. Daaaa.........

Exhausted but I likeeee

Phewwww.... what a full and tiring weekend. Sekelip mata je abis 2 hari. Tak puas rehat. Eh bukan tak puas tapi tak sempat nak rehat langsung. So busy going here and there. I have never been to MAHA before. Pastu teringat Mak Ndak suka kat pokok-pokok ni so ajak la Mak Ndak pegi. So hari Sabtu pukul 8am dah keluar pegi rumah Mak Ndak kat Sg. Besi dulu. Breakfast kat sana pastu terus gerak ke MAHA. Athirah my 9 y.o cousin pun tag along. Nak tau kami tersekat dalam the worst traffic jammed ever. Almost 2 jam untuk jarak tak sampai 3 km. Naik mengantuk ok.   

Semenjak my pokok cili menjadi dan berbuah dengan lebatnya, I terus bersemangat nak tanam pokok lagi. So I plan to look for pokok limau kasturi. Mak Ndak pulak nak beli macam-macam pokok. Hai entah muat atau tidak la my cute Savvy tu. Mula-mula usha-usha dulu. Range harga antara setiap penjual adalah berbeza. Pastu ada yang pokok dia cantik and ada yang tak berapa nak cantik. Puas pusing area pokok we went to area FAMA pulak. Ada macam-macam buah tapi we didn't bought any except for some sliced fruit. I beli alamak apa pulak la nama buah tu. Dia macam honey dew tapi warna oren. Tsk lupa la pulak. Tapi memang tak sedap langsung yang gerai tu jual. Tawar.     

Later ke gerai-gerai yang jual barang-barang hiasan and pakaian. Sempat la rembat kain sepasang. Hehehe.... Pastu lepak kat gerai minum air kelapa yang super best. Athirah makan nasi ayam. Time pun dah around lunch time tapi perut dah kembung minum air je so tak lapar la. Hari punya lah panas. Since I pakai sandal, kaki rasa terbakar. Bahang macam kena benda panas aje. Tapi masa kat tempat pokok-pokok tak la rasa panas macam tu. Lepas makan went back to that area pokok-pokok. 

My first purchase adalah 3 pasu pokok bonsai. I nak letak kat office. Orang kata bagus letak pokok hidup kat office ni. Then I bought pokok limau kasturi and limau purut. And 3 biji pasu untuk pokok-pokok limau itu. Mak Ndak memborong sakan. Ada pokok orchid, tongkat ali, dokong, limau nipis, limau kasturi, lemon dan macam-macam pokok buah lagi. Siap beli seguni treated soils. Since beli banyak, diorang kata ada disediakan perkhidmatan motor roda tiga untuk angkut pokok dengan barayan RM2. Bila tanya kat kaunter urus setia diorang kata kena tunggu lama sebab queue panjang. Queue panjang konon. I tengok motor tu semua tersadai aje tak de sape nak bawak. Kalau queue panjang mesti la sibuk kan. Non-stop la dia gerak bukan dok tersadai aje. What ever lah....

Since kami malas nak tunggu, Mak Ndak mintak tolong ngan gerai tempat dia borong pokok tu untuk tolong angkat pokok and soils tu. Mak aih jauh ok kami jalan. Dah la panas terik. I pun kena mengangkut all my purchases. Naik sengal tangan ni. Konon-konon nak letak barang pastu nak continue jalan lagi. Tapi bila dah sampai kat kereta, semua pun dah super penat. So we decided to just go back aje. Memang tak larat dah. My Savvy tu dah macam hutan belantara kejap. Penuh dengan segala mak nenek pokok. Hahaha....

Since Mak Ndak tak pernah sampai my house lagi so I bawak la diorang to my place. Lepas solat Zohor and Asar baru keluar makan kat Taman Warisan. It was then that Mak Ndak decided nak pegi kat rumah dia kat Nilai Impian and ajak I sekali. So ke sana la kami. By the time sampai sana dah malam pun. Since kepenatan, tak buat apa pun beside lepak-lepak and melayan Athirah. Kalau ikut I nak tido aje but Athirah ajak main all kind of games and showing me all her stuffs. Buku la, sijil la, cards la, eh macam-macam la. Penat-penat pun kena lah layan. Bukan selalu kan. So tengah malam dok main puzzle la, lego la, ntah apa lagi ntah. Paling haru, dah penat-penat tu tak boleh gak nak tido sampai pagi. Biasalah bila berubah tempat tido ni.    

Pastu hari ni right after Subuh Athirah ajak sambung main. Aduhai budak ini. Banyaknya energy kamu..... Lepas breakfast tolong Mak Ndak mengerjakan kawasan keliling rumah dia yang humang ai punyalah luas. Boleh main futsal, badmintaon, roundes, eh semualah. Semangat ok nak tanam pokok-pokok baru. Around noon barulah balik semula ke Sg, Besi. Lepas lunch balik rumah Mak Ndak jap. Sambung main games lagi ngan Athirah. Kalau boleh semua benda dia nak ajak main. Tapi I nak kena balik. Banyak keja nak buat kat rumah. Mak Ndak pun nak ke hospital melawat Pak Ndak. He's warded sebab baru lepas keluarkan besi dari kaki dia yang patah tu.

Left her house around 3.30pm. Lepas solat Asar I jadi gardener jap. Pindahkan pokok limau tu ke dalam pasu. Mudah-mudahan semua pokok tu akan hidup dengan segar dan sihat dan menghasilkan buah yang banyak. Amin.... Right after berkebun Sal pulak ajak keluar makan so ke Alamanda la pulak. Makan-makan, pastu shopping sikit. And then balik. Pergh penat betul la weekend ni. Tapi best. Mak Ndak dah buat banyak plan ni so nampak gayanya I'll be spending more time with her la after this. Syoknyeeeee.

Alamak esok dah keje. Ada banyak keje urgent pulak tu. Dah la I won't be in the office in the morning sebab nak sambung buat penilaian lagi. Duh! How and when la my works nak selesai ni......

Berbengkel la pulak

Hari ni dan esok I tak de kat office. Berbengkel di Kementerian Kewangan. Mimi yang menjadi urus setia tanya apsal diam aje hari ni. Penat weh 3 hari bercakap non-stop asking for questions. So nak diam aje. Kalau cakap pun ngan orang sebelah-sebelah aje. Hehehe......

Selain penat bercakap (wah Eny penat bercakap...sesuatu yang baru ni....), hati ni macam tak berapa nak tenang. Banyak pending works kat office sana. I kalau ada keje urgent yang tak siap memang lah hati tak tenang. Asyik teringat aje. Kalaulah boleh split badan ni senang sikit. Memang split banyak-banyak terus. Hahaha..... Tsk..... risau...risau....

Anyway hari ni dapat kawan baru. Di sebelah kanan from MOE and di sebelah kiri from MOA. Later boleh la refer bila ada sebarang kemusykilan tu kan. Networking mesti baik baru senang nak buat keje. Tak gitu? So sepanjang hari ni kami berbengkel untuk meminda tatacara on asset management. Macam-macam isu yang dibangkitkan especially from big ministry. I dengar aje and tak note sebab mostly masalahnya adalah sama aje. Haish tahun depan kenalah get used dengan tatacara yang baru pulak. Tak banyak beza but still ada lah jugak kan. Well itupun kalau stay la. Kot la rezeki dapat kat tempat lain then belajar sesuatu yang totally new la. Mana-mana pun sama je. Kerja...kerja... dan terus bekerja. Hehehe....

Dah lama tak makan ngan kawan-kawan la. Rindu rasanya. Kawan-kawan tak rindu sama I ke? Hehehe.....     

Interviewing for PTK's exam

Alhamdulillah managed to complete the interview earlier today. Anis got some briefing tonight so got to give her some break la right. I was appointed as the panellist for the support staff PTK's interview again and this this was paired with Anis. My second time and I have learnt so much from it. I guess I have become much more compassionate towards the candidates. Not all la but been given way too many markah belas kasihan. Hehehe....

On Monday it was for the drivers. Since almost all can answers the question given, the marks given were quite high. Nothing specials on the first day except for a driver from one of our agency. He's an Orang Asli and yet he can memorize the ministry vision and mission statement. Memang sangat mengkagumkan ok. Even I myself can't memorize the mission statement. It shows that he comes in well prepared. Good job ok. The session ended around 5pm and both of us already exhausted for on the first day itself we interviewed more than 20 candidates.

On Tuesday it was the Pekerja Rendah Awam turn. Majority of the PRA that were interviewed yesterday are Orang Asli. Basically they do the labour works like trimming the grass and gardening. When asked to describe their daily job, the answers given would be, "tugas saya potong rumput, cuci longkang, cuci tandas, siram bunga bla..bla..bla..". Aduh kesian betul kan. I ni memang cukup lemah kalau dengar orang buat tugas buruh kasar ni. Cepat je simpati. Rasa macam kesian sangat. Especially for those yang quite old already. There's one candidate. Born in 1955 and started working in February 1978. I was not even born yet ok. He's work; tukang sapu. Mak aih rasa sebak bila dengar. Entah apa-apa je I ni kan. Psiko... Of course when you asked some general knowledge, these people will not know most of the things around them. They are too old already to come back again so bagi lulus ajelah. Like I said, banyak bagi markah belas kasihan aje. If nak ikutkan my standard, ramai je yang akan fail. Tapi kesian ok..kesian...

And then one candidates told me that he came in unprepared because he was so sick before. Coma for 3 days due to bleeding dengue fever and his family thought he's a gone case already. Alhamdulillah umurnya dipanjangkan. And he looks quite old for his age because he did all the heavy duty labour job since ages ago. Dulu keja buruh kat pelantar minyak pastu keje buat kapal and since 5 years ago keje gardener at one of the agency. He can't work too far from home sebab wife dah meninggal and ada twin daughter aged 5 years. Besides his gardening work, he got partime job as tukang rumah. Got to work hard to support the children. Imagine bila kena dengar semua ni? Tak ke sedih hati ni. Terus tak tau nak tanya apa. Anis pun sama.

So basically hari yang kedua adalah hari yang agak menyedihkan. Siap terfikir lagi, interviewing this kind of people is very emotionally challenging. Nak-nak kalau ada yang merayu-rayu tu... Serius tak sampai hati ok. Tak banyak sikit mesti kasi marks punya lah. Tapi ada jugak yang kelakar. One of the candidates said, "Cuci tandas guna Axion lah". Axion??? "Eh silap. ZIP". Hahaha.....

And today adalah turn Pembantu Am Pejabat or PAP and drivers, PRAs and PAPs yang mengambil PTK 2 dan 3. Seronok juga interview yang ambil PTK 2 dan 3 ni sebab almost all dah senior and banyaklah boleh tanya or belajar. Bincang pun ya jugak. Ada satu team of 3 drivers tu memang sangat best sampai tak sedar masa berlalu. Bukan best sebab tanya soalan tapi sebab bagi explanantion panjang lebar. Almost all things yang ditanya diorang tak tau so terpaksa la explain. Mostly pasal cuti dan elaun la. Kelakar betul. "Ooooo ye ke? Kami tak tau pun sebelum ni. Tak pernah dengar pun." Hehehe... sabar je lah. Tu pasal kena baca PKPA tu ye encik-encik semua.

Our last candidates adalah yang terbest sekali. Save the best for last gitu. He's 55 years old and already been in the service for 40 years. Lama gila ok. Masuk keje umur 14 tahun. But I salute this man for his principles. I learnt a lot from him. Dah bukan macam interview but macam open discussion. Overall it ended very well. Good experience to me and Anis. Kena bersyukur with our life now sebab ramai lagi yang lebih teruk. Anis siap cakap,"Muka kau ni macam kaunselor ke? Semua nak cerita kat kau" Hehehe.... entah la labu, memang macam tu dari dulu. Memang minat nak jadi kaunselor tapi terjadi PTD pulak. Hehehe..... 

Anyway thanks to HR for this oppurtunity. Nice working with you guys and thanks for the nice meals too. Sangat sedap ok. Lenkali kalau ada peluang silalah offer lagi ye. Hehehe....

Another cooking gadget

Tadi balik kat bilik and I saw a parcel on my desk. Immediately dah  tau apa. Hehehe...syoknya.... I got myself a digital kitchen scale. Redeem from the Bonuslink point. I kan kata nak belajar baking. Recipes banyak yang ada sukatan so kenalah ada scale. I dah survey banyak tempat tapi tak de yang berkenan. Kalau ada pun mahal sangat. Last week masa tengok website Bonuslink ternampak la satu kitchen scale ni. Digital plak tu. So ok la redeem yang itu. Retail price dia RM99 tu. Jimat duit camni. Tapi melayang banyak ribu jugaklah point. Hehehe.... Tak pe pasni kumpul point lagi ye. Lepas ni nak cari bakeware pulak. Jangan esok dah complete segalanya tapi hampeh tak membaking jugak. Hahaha.......

So Puan K dan Puan D, lepas ni jadi la plan kita nak buat brownies at my place ye.

Hoping for more news on this

KPDNKK seems to act really fast. I lodge a report thru e-Aduan last Tuesday and on the same day they called me to inform that they already got the complaint and will passed it to the nearest office. Then yesterday someone from KPDNKK again called and asking for more informations about the complaint. Ok suddenly I have a big problem. I can't seem to remember where I put the receipt. Duh! I remember I took it to the office but after that I can't remember where did I keep it. Time ni lah nak terlupa..... 

Hopefully this thing can be settled as soon as possible. Kalau dapat balik some of the money, syukur Alhamdulillah. If not, nak buat macam mana bukan rezeki tapi at least those kedai in MINES will be under the KPDNKK radar. Hehehe.....

Batik Fun Walk 2010

Because of this event, I sacrifice the time I can spend at home with my parents by coming back earlier. But no regret sebab event was ok although still tak memang apa-apa. Hehehe....

The event was held at Seri Pacific so we have to push off earlier from Putrajaya. I set my alarm at 5.15am since I'm going to carpool with Siti and Zul at 5.50am. I can't sleep again that night so bila pagi barulah macam nak terlelap kan. Exactly at 5.51am, ada sms masuk from Sal asking me something about the event. I was so terperanjat looking at the time terus melompat masuk toilet, amik wudhu and solat subuh. Pastu kelam-kabut bersiap. I was contemplating whether to shower or not sebab dah lewat and tak mo la nanti orang tunggu kan. Told Zul that I'll be late and he said ok sebab diorang pun nak siapkan Khaira so sempatlah I mandi. If not.... hahaha.....

This time around tak ramai dapat join sebab masih bercuti panjang sempena Raya Haji. Yang ada cuma Edwin, Ana, Leen, Didi, Sal, Chatul, Shaf, Siti, Zul, Diana and me. Ada sape-sape lagi tak eh? Everyone got a pair of batik lepas to wear. Mula-mula ingat nak pakai macam pocong. You all tau tak? Ala yang macam selalu main masa kecik-kecik dulu tu. Tapi nanti rimas la apa la kan so tak jadi. In the end Didi pakai macam masa menari zapin and everyone followed. To kick off the event, ada warming up session with Linda Jasmin. Of all the event I joined so far, tak pernah lagi buat warming up sampai berpeluh-peluh like yesterday. Bukan setakat warm lagi dah but hot hot hot. It was fun anyway. Main belasah je sebab tak berapa nak nampak her steps.

Setelah berpeluh sakan, acara berjalan pun dimulakan. This time I tak la jalan laju-laju sangat so sempat la bergambar dengan diorang yang memang sakan bergambar sepanjang jalan. Ada macam-macam style orang pakai batik. I was not in the phototaking mood since I still can't upload anything in here. Ada one aunty ni siap tampal-tampal batik and lastly jadi baju and siap buat bear, ikan and some other stuff with batik. Famous betul dia sebab semua pun nak bergambar dengan dia. Then ada family yang pakai macam pocong tu tapi dengan cara yang lebih creative. This aunty and the family menang hadiah individual and family in most creative batik.  

This batik event thingy was held in honour of the late Datin Seri Endon (ex-PM wife) so the VVIP's adalah kawan baik dia (alamak lupa pulak nama orang itu tapi dia memang famous lah jugak) and also her daughter; Nory and her husband Khairy Jamaluddin. Cucu-cucu dia pun ada. Diorang ni pun took part in the walk. We were those antara yang terakhir sampai and the VVIP's were just behind us. 

Lepas penat berjalan, we were entertained by some performance from AF artist. I ni manalah layan AF-AF ni so memang tak kenal sangat artist AF kecuali yang betul-betul famous. Mula-mula Mila. I kenal je tapi tak layan pun lagu dia so macam kebosanan jugak nak tunggu dia selesai. Then keluar satu Mamat ni. I tak kenal so tanya lah ngan diorang. Turn out dia tu Maulana. Nyanyi lagu orang je so malas layan jugak. Last sekali mamat jugak and pun I tak kenal. Macam ramai je peminat. It was Daus. I tak sabar nak tunggu diorang selesai nyanyi sebab nak tunggu cabutan bertuah. Main prize was Sony Bravia. Tapi dah memang namanya I am not lucky in any lucky draw so tak menang apa pun. The only one from our team yang menang ialah Chatul; she got some vouchers kot.

Right after someone won the TV, we left. Ops lupa pulak. Sebelum tu we were interviewed by Astro. Well Edwin la yang jadi jurucakapnya. I menempel aje. Famous la kejap kan. Ada sape-sape nampak kitorang dalam TV tak semalam? Hehehe..... Overall Batik Fun walk 2010 adalah best dengan hadiah yang menarik and sponsors hadiah pun banyak. Tapi tak ramai yang join. I rasa mainly sebab orang ramai masih bercuti. Tak pun sebab clash dengan World Walking Day kat Titiwangsa kot. Most probably next year akan join this event lagi. Insya Allah.... So kawan-kawan, sila fikirkan tema batik kita tahun depan ye.

Hari Raya Haji 2010

Mengapakah apabila kita bercuti, time flies so fast? Rasanya baru je semalam balik rumah, esok dah nak kena balik ke Putrajaya semula. Actually cuti sampai Ahad tapi Ahad nanti ada Batik Fun Walk and  highway mesti jammed teruk kan. So balik la one day earlier. Tak puas rasanya duduk kat rumah ni. Well kalau balik rumah sampai bila-bila pun tak pernah puas kan. Hehehe.....

Anyway last Tuesday I minta kebenaran keluar awal sebab nak balik Kuantan and nak elakkan kesesakkan tapi hampeh jammed teruk gak. I keluar rumah exactly at 2pm, amik Mamat kat Equine and ikut Sungai Besi sebelum masuk MRR2. It took me 2 freaking hours to reach the Gombak toll. Nampaknya semua orang pun berfikiran yang sama macam I gak. Selalunya Putrajaya - Kuantan cuma 3 hours aje tapi last Tuesday it took me 5 hours ok. Naik cramp kaki ni. Sampai rumah dalam 7 lebih so berbuka dengan plain water je lah dulu dalam kereta. Kali ni I balik berempat; Mamat, Siti and her friend Suria and me. So adalah jugak teman nak berbual sepanjang jalan.

I rasa this is the first time I balik during raya's eve. So by the time sampai rumah semua pun dah beres.  Tak de la rasa penat kena rushing semua. Penat driving ajelah. So malam memang tidur awal la. Well kalau tak penat pun I memang tidur awal pun kan. Hehehe....On Hari Raya itself, as usual kenalah menyiapkan apa-apa yang patut. Dalam banyak-banyak keje kena buat pagi raya, I paling suka potong ketupat and masukkan kuih dalam balang. Since this raya tak de buat or beli kuih langsung, so potong ketupat ajelah. Memang setiap tahun dan setiap kali raya I am the one yang akan potong ketupat. Lemang je I tak berapa suka nak potong sebab payah nak potong the buluh. The whole day duduk rumah and makan-makan ajelah. Petang Mak masak nasi bukhari. Pergh memang sedap gila. Payah betul nak kawal makan kalau balik rumah my parents. Hehehe.....      

Mak and Jannah keje semalam and hari ni. I je yang cuti dengan those yang belajar lagi. So misi semalam ialah mendaftarkan diri untuk menunaikan fardhu haji. Mula-mula ingat nak daftar for my parents, me and beberapa adik aje tapi in the end semua pun daftar sekali except for Akak and Hayat. I rasa Tabung Haji kat Kuantan semalam tu penuh dengan my family members aje. Mula-mula Mak, Abah, Jannah, Ayum and me aje. Pastu we decided to daftar untuk semua and ada beberapa procedure yang kena buat sebab almost all accounts are under Mak's name so kenalah tukar account dulu dan macam-macam lah. Our turn would be on 2035. Mak aih lama betul. I dah umur 57 tahun masa tu. Entah larat entah tidak. Hopefully dapat pergi lebih awal. Insya Allah.

So, kawan-kawan, silalah pergi daftar haji sebab sekarang dah makin ramai yang nak pegi. Dengan restriction kuota Arab Saudi semua tu, masa menunggu adalah lebih lama. Nak daftra senang sangat. Buat online pun boleh. Yang penting ada at minimum simpanan dalam akaun Tabung Haji bernilai RM1,300. Cepat-cepat sebelum terlambat. Insya Allah kalau kita dah ada niat nak menunaikan fardhu haji, Allah akan permudahkan segalanya.

Sepanjang hari were spend kat Tabung Haji. Petang balik sambut baby baru. After 3 nieces finally dapat la nephew. Nama dia Abdul Manan Basyirin. Klasik sangat Abdul Manan tu kan. Hehehe..... Semua pakat berebut nak pegang baby baru so I just tengok dari jauh jelah. Comel sangat.

Today barulah dapat peluang pegang Manan. I rasa he noticed the different of me and the others la. Maybe sebab braces tu kot. Hahaha..... Yelah bila I cakap-cakap dengan dia, he kept staring at me. Pastu senyum-senyum. Mesti dalam kepala dia fikir..."Eh kenapa bila orang ni cakap ada kilat-kilat ni? Orang lain tak de pun. Cantiknya kilat-kilat ni..." Hahaha..... psiko betul Cik Ngah dia ni eh. Tak puas main ngan Manan sebab banyak lepas tu nak kena rushing masak and bersiap nak keluar. Macam biasa I ni jadi drill officer kalau bab-bab nak bersiap ni. Time management masing-masing memang fail kalau tak kena kerah. Kena kerah pun fail gak. Geram betul I tadi. In the end merajuk tak nak keluar ngan diorang. Just keluar ngan Adah and Bila aje. Tapi pastu jumpa gak kat ECM. Tak leh la nak merajuk lama-lama. Hehehe.....

Keluar bertiga ngan budak kecik dua orang tu kenalah jalan slow-slow. Bercinta nak boleh tawaf semua kedai so pegi mana-mana yang patut aje. Tu pun sempat gak shopping groceries sket kat Carrefour and makan KFC. Ingatkan diorang balik kampung dah lama tak jumpa KFC so tu pasal bila diorang kata nak KFC I ikutkan aje rupa-rupanya Ummi dia kata baru je makan KFC on the way balik semalam. Ish budak-budak ni. Mau jadi obesiti nanti ni. Hahaha......

Uish hujan lebat dan kilat-kilat lagi ni. Nanti sambung la ye. 

I lost the battle

I guess I'm not cut to be a good fighter la. Yesterday I lost big time. Not only they didn't want to cancel the transaction, I was instructed to return the Nokia N78 and they replaced it with SE Elm. In total I lost around RM500++. Sigh..... Anyway this is what happened yesterday.

When I arrived at the shop, I told them I no longer want to take the SE T715 and wanted to cancel the whole transaction. The seller said I can't do that. After some arguments (not heated ones, I can assure that) I said I'll take back the X10 Mini and he have to return back the extra RM100 I paid when I exchanged it with the N79. Actually he was the one who suggested it that way. However while I was checking the X10 Mini, come a lady and she was saying all sort of things. I'm not good in arguments kan so obviously I can't beat her at that. I hate it when people put words into my mouth and saying all the different thing from what I'm trying to say. I was telling her the truth but she keep twisting the story. I guess it is so hard to be honest sometimes. I was shivering all the time because I have never done this before. So in the end I went home with the SE Elm because I just don't want to prolonged the arguments. Plus it was 8pm already and I didn't eat anything yet except some plain water to break the fasting. 

I am so devastated with this whole incident because I will have to pay some huge amount for something not even half of what I'm paying. And I blamed this on my own stupidity. I can't sleep last night thinking about this. Although I'm on the loosing side, I guess I have learnt something from it. At least I know about the Consumer Act and next time when buying something, I'll stick to what I want no matter what. To see the this whole incident from a positive side, maybe I'm loosing that money because I don't do my job good enough. Tak berkat kan. Maybe this is to pay for my sins (kafarah dosa). It felt so much better after I look at it that way. Kenalah redha kan coz I will never get back the money no matter what. Hmmmm my hard earned money and I loose it just like that....

Although I have accepted this thing, I still lodged a report at e-Aduan. So we see how it goes after this. I don't think I'll win or get back my money but at least I should teach them a lesson kan. Hopefully there would be no more customer who would be cheated after this. 

For the time being, I will have to learn to love the new phone. Hmmmmm....     

I read an act you....

Still on the cheating issue. Sorry la if it bore you guys but this is really affecting me. Ok I have dig some valuable info to prepare me for this evening. That valuable info comes in the form of an act; Consumer Protection Act 1999. I am serious about this thing it seems. So let see things I pick-up from the act.

Part II : Misleading and deceptive conduct, false representation and unfair practice

Section 10 (1) : No person shall make a false or misleading representation that :-

(a) the goods are of particular kind, standard, quality, grade, quantity, composition, style or model - well this one memang kena la ni, kata 4gb padahal 2gb je

(b) the goods have had a particular history or particular previous use - ni lagi lah, jual phone 2nd hand tapi tak bagitau and siap charge extra lagi.

(f) the goods are new or reconditioned - almost the same with (b)

Part IV : Offences, defences and remedies in relation to Part II and Part III

Section 25 : Contravention of Parts II and Part III to be an offence

(1) any person who contravenes any of the provisions of Part II and Part III commits and offence and shall on conviction be liable :-   

(a) corporate body; fine not exceeding RM250,000 and for 2nd and subsequent offense fine not exceeding RM500,000

(b) non-corporate body; fine not exceeding RM150,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 3 years or both and for 2nd and subsequent offence fine not exceeding RM250,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 6 years or both

Part V : Guarantees in respect of supply of goods

Section 34 : Implied guarantee that goods comply with description

(1) where goods supply by description, there shall be implied guarantee that the goods correspond with description - again on the memory card issue

(2) supply of good is not prevented from being a supply by description by reason only that, being exposed for sale or hire, they are selected by consumer - ye walaupun I tak check pun if the memory card is 4gb or not and the phone is new or used but I still have the right. I trust the description given by the seller kan.

Part VI : Rights against suppliers in respect of guarantees in the supply of goods

Section 41 : Options against suppliers where goods do not comply with guarantees

(1) (b) (i) : reject the goods

(1) (b) (ii) : obtain damages in compensation

(2) : In addition to remedies in (1), consumer may obtain from suppler the damages for any loss or damage suffered by consumer which is proved to be a result or consequence of the failure - boleh claim ni my time, minyak semua ni. Hehehe....

Section 46 : Consumer's option of refund or replacement

(1) (a) refund of money paid or other consideration provided by customer - I nak cancel the whole transaction

Ok itu adalah sebahagian yang I sempat baca. Tak sempat la nak study betul-betul kan. So far I rasa I nak bagi the seller 2 option; to cancel the whole transaction and I'll return both the phones and I won't make any report or replace the goods back and I still make the report sebab he cheated in the first place kan. Tengoklah macam mana nanti. Hopefully I akan adalah keberanian tu. Manalah tau dalam keadaan terdesak tetibe jadi berani ke. Insya Allah.

Apa-apa pun sila tunggu esoklah ye. And hopefully sedikit petikan act itu akan dapat membantu kawan-kawan lain or anyone yang singgah di sini. Insya Allah....

Putrajaya Global Diabetic Walk 2010

Bengang kena tipu punya pasal sampai terlupa nak cerita pasal the weekend event. Last Saturday morning I joined the Putrajaya Global Diabetic Walk 2010. The distance was 5km only. I love the fact that there were many events yang dianjurkan di depan Palace of Justice yang hanyalah sekangkang king kong from my place itu. Within walking distance so adalah rugi kalau tak join. Dah la free kan. The night before Sal came to my place for sleepover since the shirt will be given from 6-6.45am. Subuh masuk around 5.40am so sangat lah sempat untuk jadi the early bird.

When we arrived there, the place was quite gelap aside from the normal road side light. Tak nampak macam ada event pun. Dah la event yang global plak tu. Nak kata small scale the sponsors adalah big companies. Punyalah sadis the organizers sampaikan nak tengok senarai nama pun susah ok. Yelah tengok dalam gelap kan. Tak de langsung lampu kat khemah tu. Macam blackout pun ada jugak. Hehehe..... Tshirt given walaupun free tapi cantik and the material was ok too compared to the one I got during the Walk for Hunger ones.

In general tak ramai pun participants. Rasanya in few hundreds aje lah kot. Mostly were those from Hospital Putrajaya; the main sponsors. But I guess the promotions should be blame la. Sponsors adalah hebat-hebat; mostly giant company in pharmaceuticals and health provider tapi participants tak ramai mana. Rugilah sebab event pun free aje. KKLW Runners macam biasalah memang ramai. Sebelum berjalan kita buat stretching dulu. Ada instructor from Celebrity Fitness. I suka kalau ada buat stretching ramai-ramai ni sebab kalau harapkan buat sendiri memang tak buat punya. In the end sakit-sakit satu badan after that.

KKLW Runners was separated into 2 groups; mine a smaller one with Didi, Anis and Shahnaz in it. And the others were in the other group yang seronok bergambar sepanjang jalan. The 4 of us memang fokus dengan berjalan aje and sangat lah cepat sampai. At the finishing line macam biasa dapat certificate and goody bag. Later pegi beratur and dapat banana and green apple free. And also a magazine. For lucky draw ada begitu banyak hadiah yang best-best; paling banyak of course la the blood glucose meter. I memang tak pernah menang pun lucky draw ni. No one from KKLW Runners yang dapat pun. Tak pelah yang penting we had fun.

Next would be Batik Fun Walk. Sape yang belum register tu, apa tunggu lagi. Jom kita ramai-ramai.      

Kedai penipu

This is still about the penipuan oleh kedai telefon di MINES itu. This morning, I found out that the memory card that was inserted in the phone was 2gb and not 4gb as it should have. Mak aih this kedai memang nak cari pasal with me ni. So I was thinking, should I just cancel everything or should I proceed with taking another phone? The shop will definately give me hard time this evening. Yelah nak cancelling a transaction, ok make it 2 transaction amounting RM1.5k++ mestilah diorang tak nak kan. Tapi diorang ni penipu sangat. Kenapa perlu tolerate dengan penipu kan. Entah dah berapa ramai la yang kena tipu dengan diorang ni.

I plan to lodge a report with KPDNKK via e-Aduan la. I have all the info with me. Tapi tengok dulu macam mana petang nanti la. Kalau dia nak tunjuk kerek and tak bagi what I want, maybe esok jugak I akan isi the e-Aduan form. Biar dia tau. I might look like a lemah and stupid lady yang boleh dimakan but I'll stand for my right ok. Siap la korang. Marah betul ni.... 

Kalau ikut hati memang nak cancel je everything. Biar diorang tak dapat satu sen pun. Sebab kalau I amik the 3rd phone, I masih akan rugi around RM300. Tapi kalau I retun all the phone and ask them to cancel the transaction, diorang akan rugi la kan. Tai takut jugak ni. Kalau dia bawak samseng macam mana? Ish....

Ya Allah, permudahkan lah urusanku dengan penipu-penipu ini. Lindungilah diriku dari sebarang penipuan dan ancaman dari mereka. Amin.

Hari bodoh dan malang Eny

Ye ye I tau tak baik cakap bodoh but yesterday was my stupidest day ever. Ni my immediate boss la ni yang memperkenalkan istilah hari bodoh. Selalu dengar cerita dia je and semalam memang terkena kat diri sendiri. Hari bodoh Eny jatuh pada 3 November 2010, exactly pada usia 32 tahun 7 bulan. Cessss.... Ceritanya begini ye murid-murid......

I went to buy new phones at MINES with a friend. I have googled around for months before and fell in love with  SE W995 but due to some circumstances with Sony Centre and advices from Sony Ericsson, I opt for SE Aino  Blackberry, Iphone dan semua smart phone yang seangkatan dengannya tidak termasuk dalam senarai because I only use my phone for calls, smses and taking pictures. Actually more on taking pictures la. So focus pada function itu aje. Tapi bila dah sampai sana and after mendengar celoteh salesman yang begitu panjang lebar, I beli SE Xperia X10 Mini. I definately don't like the phone tapi sebab dah malas nak duduk sana lama-lama and dengar lagi the salesman bercakap, I belasah jelah beli. I know I know that was such a plain stupid act and I deserve a knock on my head. Hehehe..... 

Bila balik I explore la the phone. Much to my disappointment, the messaging function adalah sangat menyusahkan. Type a word, press a button on the screen to go to another page, then press the space bar there, then press the back button, and type another word, press again a button to next page and do the same on and on and on. How stupid can it be huh. Memang naik je my blood pressure semalam. So malam pegi balik and tukar kepada model lain. Since I tak tau nak beli model apa dah I just took what the salesman offered; Nokia N79. Actually I ada la tengok-tengok few other models tapi memang blank and don't know what to choose sebab I only study on models I like. So yang lain-lain tu I tak tau and sangat berharap pada penerangan salesman ajelah. And I bought a phone for Siti's too; SE T715. Even if I tak beli new phone for Siti, I still kena tambah duit sebab dia kata the X10 Mini tu dah kira second hand. Ok tak pe I sabar lagi. All in I've paid more than 1.5K already.

This morning right after Subuh prayer, around 6.15am macam tu, I try la explore the new phone. Gila kentang gigih bangun pagi explore phone baru kan. Hehehe.... I was so horrified to found out that the phone yang dijual itu adalah second hand one. My goodness my blood pressure shoot tinggi terus and terus hilang segala mengantuk. To calm down I bangun bukak tingkap, selak langsir, jemur kain dan buat macam-macam. It was not even 7pm yet ok. Marah betul I pagi tadi. Pastu around 9am something I sms the salesman and told him about my finding. I asked him to clarify the matter fast. If not I'll lodge a report with KPDNKK. Amik nak. Silap orang la dia nak tipu. I kalau in person memang I tak berani dan tak pandai nak fight but if I feels that my right are being fooled, I'll fight betul-betul. Selalunya my finger can talk better than my mouth la kan. Tau pun nak apologize semua. Pandai sangat nak cheat orang eh. 

He said he'll return the extra money that I have to pay masa nak trade-in the X10 Mini and asked me to take the X10 Mini back. Ah tak mo la I kan. I said I want to take the same model as Siti's one. Bukan apa, I dah malas dah nak pilih-pilih model lain walaupun Aino tetap di hati. Aino ni model lama actually so agak susah nak dapat stok dah. Tu salesman tu la yang kata kan. Since the SE T715 are very very cheap, not even half of what I paid, I got to keep the Nokia N79 and got new phone. In total I bought 3 phones la kan. Sound macam great bargain kan. Not at all. I'm actually on the loosing side. I rugi more than RM300 la jugak. Sigh.... Tapi I malas la nak bertekak panjang ngan salesman tu although bukan mulut I la yang bertekak but my fingers. Hahaha.....   

However I kena tunggu esok la untuk mendapatkan telefon baru itu. As for the Nokia N79 yang telah diinstalled dengan original Garmin itu, akan adalah tuan barunya. I don't intend to have more than 2 phones before inikan pulak 3. Most probably Eman la yang akan dapat sebab the one he's been using, my old Motorola E6 are already in very poor condition. Walaupun bodoh tapi I ni baik la jugak kan. Hahaha.... Nak jugak puji diri sendiri tu. 

Moral of the story, always stick to what you want. Jangan mudah terpengaruh. It seems that I have never learnt from past experience. Memang selalu kena tipu je I ni sebab percaya sangat kat orang. Lepas ni akan lebih berhati-hati. Insya Allah. Baru je cleared my credit card from outstanding balance and dah melambak amount baru yang masuk. Ish...ish...ish... Eny....Eny... bila la nak insaf ni????

I will not buy new phone for years to come. Serik la terkena kali ni. Oh tapi kalau rosak kenalah tukar gak kan. Hehehe......

Randomness

• I think there are new guards at the main entrance. Abis semua orang dilambainya termasuklah yang naik motor.
• My house is in a mess and I'm just too tired to do anything about it. Alamak malam ni Sal and Didi nak sleepover.
• I had put on weight; 2kg to be exact. Blame it on the yummy foods and makan non-stop semasa outstation. Duh!
• Banyaknya urgents works tapi masa dan mood macam tak de nak buat.
• Hari ni last day bayar credit card so by hook or by crook balik ni kena pegi bank.
• Rezeki bulan ni sangat murah tapi kadar aliran duit keluar juga sangat laju. Bila nak pandai simpan duit macam ni?
• Tak join Eman balik Kuantan malam ni sebab esok nak berjalan menyihatkan badan.
• Akan ketiadaan kereta sepanjang weekend ini sebab Eman nak guna kereta balik Kuantan. Camne nak berjimbarama macam ni?
• I need to buy new phone fast. And I hate Sony Centre at Jusco Equine for their bad service. I booked a phone with them and they called me twice and both time bila pegi diorang kata phone tu tak de. Dah tu kenapa call? Haish...  
• I need to buy running shoes too. The one I have now telah terkopak tapaknya. Still considering either to buy New Balance or Mizuno. Asics is way over my budget.
• Nak cancel my Maxis braodband. Kena bayar RM103 for 6gb and I tak online langsung last month. Rugi betul.
• Nak jadi lebih rajin tapi turn out jadi lebih malas. Camne tu?
• Rindukan anak sedara yang begitu becok itu. Meera datang semalam tapi tak puas la satu malam aje. Paling rindu kat Nabila. Hmmmm....
• Eeee dah November. Pastu December. And next year dah 33. Aaaaggghhhhh tidaaaaakkkkkk!!!!!!!
• Dah lama tak baca Quran. Liatnya nak mula balik. Jahat betul la Eny ni. Novel rajin pulak baca. Non-stop pulak tu.
• Ok sambung lain kali pulak.

Exhausted.....seriously

Yaaawn.... aduhai mengantuk dan penatnya. I was on leave yesterday sebab my parents came to settle something. Tapi dah balik pun malam tadi. This time around the trip to Kelantan dan Terengganu adalah sangat memenatkan. Tambahan lagi I didn't have proper sleep since last Sunday. Malam tadi pun sama. Went to sleep around 11 something. Wake up at 1am and terus terjaga sampai la ke pagi. Kiranya this week macam berapa jam sangat je tidur. Masa on the road adalah jugak tidur tapi tidur-tidur ayam je lah. So that explain why I am so mengantuk dan penat di pagi-pagi hari ni. On Wednesday tu penat gila tapi sampai rumah tak sempat nak berehat sangat sebab my parents dah on the way so kenalah kemas apa-apa yang patut kan. Sudahnya I asked Bang Long and Eman to tapau some food. Abah bawak ketam segar nak masak and Bang Long la yang menjadi chefnya. I dah tak kuasa nak buat apa pun. Penat tahap gaban. Hehehe.....  

Harini ada sesi penilaian lagi tapi dekat area Putrajaya aje. Pastu ada farewell dengan pengerusi Puspanita kat alamak apa pulak nama hotel tu...... adoi mental block betullah. Hah Hotel Pullman. Tapi tak tau la sempat ke tidak. Banyak betul benda nak buat. I am sooooo tired la. Macam tak boleh focus aje. Nak tengok screen ni pun macam tak boleh nak focus. Tsk..... Baru pukul berapa ni dah penat semacam.

Anyway, esok pagi I ada event lagi. Dalam pada penat-penat tu sempat lagi berlari or berjalan ye. Tak pe lah bukan selalu kan. Harap-harap malam ni dapat la tidur dengan lenanya. So pagi esok bangun fresh aje dan terus menapak lagi ke Palace of Justice untuk Putrajaya Global Diabetic Walk. Dan harap-harap boleh la berjimbarama this weekend. If not melepet aje lah kat umah. Kak Zah baru je bagi duit kutu kejap tadi. My turn this month so sangatlah bersemangat nak beli-beli ni. Hehehe....

Cerita Kelantan dan Terengganu akan dibuat kemudian. Ada banyak gambar menarik tapi tak dapat nak tunjuk. I still have issue dengan Google ni. Macam manalah nak buat ni.....

Ok this zombie is leaving. Nak pegi buat penilaian. Nanti sambung ok.

Anak-anak Kita by M Nasir

One of the CD's that was playing in the car by Bang Long was M Nasir's and there's one song that I really really like and reminded me so much of the good old times in OBML (Outward Bound Malaysia Lumut) a.k.a OBS (Outward Bound School) and the fast poco-poco dance. I missed my watch mates and the funny and tiring and challenging moments we shared there. I have a video of us dancing to the song but couldn't remember where I saved it.

Since yesterday, I keep playing the same song over and over again. Hahaha.... Anyway, enjoy the lyrics. Very deep and meaningful.

Cerita Kuantan

So as planned earlier, went home to Kuantan with Bang Long last Thursday night. Bang Long has been transferred to become a coffee roaster so he now work normal 9-6 daily with weekend and public holiday. Hoorey after 11 years of working at odd hours with nearly impossible chances for public holiday he now can go home as frequents as he want. Alhamdulillah. Everything happen for a reason. He didn't get the promotion to become Area Manager but he got a better bargain than that in terms of working hour. So now he can focus on continuing is study. Alamak I pun kena start thinking on doing a master la like this.

Anyway I left Putrajaya around 9pm and reached Kuantan around 1.30am. Bang Long is a better driver than I am in terms of obeying the speed limit. So that explains how a journey that normally took me 3 hours become more than 4 hours. Plus he needed a break in between where else I can drive straight from Putrajaya to Kuantan vice versa. However I can't drive at night since my normal sleeping hour starts at 9-10pm so my eyes will become heavy and sleepy around that time. And that makes me a bad co-pilot too. Hahaha...... I was so hungry while on the way but the sleepiness took over me that when I reached home, I just want to continue my sleep and doing anything else. Teruk kena sakat on Friday sebab masa on the way bukan main tanya ada makanan ke tak. Hehehe.....    

Friday just hang out at home doing nothing much except for makan-makan. Mak was working on that day. She offered half of her pay that day for Ayum if he willing to tag her along. Wah wah wah..... masa I dulu tak de pun. Half of her pay mean hundreds tuuuu..... I dulu singgit pun kedekut. Hahaha...... Meera was at home with us so spend the whole day with her. I taught her how to play with paint programmes. I'm not good in artsy thingy but to a 4 years old, her auntie is like Picasso. Hahaha....

Saturday evening we (Akak, Meera and me) went to East Coast Mall. We did nothing much beside window shopping. Meera was hungry and when I asked her what she want, she said; "KFC pun tak pe". Hehehe..... She said she want to eat 3pc of chicken so I bought dinner plate. Huh tak de maknenya dia makan 3pc. She just love the skin and not the meat. While eating her lunch, she said; " Cik Ngah, kalau tak tengok Wonderpet hari ni, esok pun ada lagi kan?". This kid I tell you is a serious TV addict. She knows what programme at what channel at what time by heart. And she can sing along to every song, commercials included. Tapi suh ngaji main-main. Sabar je lah.  

Before balik I bought some Big Apple donuts and the Donashi. I didn't eat the Donashi pun so tak tau how it taste. Just love its cute design. From there we went to Kak Sobir's house first. Missed her plus got a whole tonne of story to load up. Meera can't wait to go home to watch her programme. Hish ini budak..... potong stim aje orang nak borak puas-puas. Keep on interrupting our chat aje. Around Maghrib we left her place. And before we knew it, Meera already dozed off in the car. She must be so tired after her non-stop jumping and running.

That night I was standing in front of all my siblings who were playing some PC games in my cargo pants and t-shirt when Meera asked me this, "Cik Ngah, Cik Ngah ni lelaki ke perempuan?" The boys laugh the hardest. Sabar je lah. So I asked her back, " Kenapa?" Her replies, "Tak la kalau Cik Ngah lelaki Meera nak tumbuk-tumbuk la Cik Ngah" Amboi budak ni.... Thank God when I asked her whether she thinks that I'm a girl or a boy she said I'm a girl like her Mama and others auntie. Phew.... I know I'm not as girly as her other aunties but my hair is long already what.....

On Sunday I was busy helping in the kitchen preparing meals for lunch. I was in a good mood to help in cooking so memang tak payah suruh pun I will do anything. Cuba time malas. Nak masuk dapur pun tak mo. Hahaha..... Meera left early in the morning to be with her father so tak de la penyibuk kecil that keep coming to me for more painting games. But even if she keep disturbing me pun I'm happy je to oblige. Not that I have anything much to do anyway. Missed her and her chatty mouth la....

Left Kuantan around 4.30pm. From Karak to KL the traffic was bumper to bumper. Blamed it on vehicles coming down from Kelantan. Hehehe.... no offense ye my kelantanese friends. Siti tag along with us so got to send her back first then Bang Long and finally I reached home around 9pm. First thing to do last night was to pack my stuff for the journey today. Keep on packing and unpacking the bag aje lately. But this would be the last ones la. No more outstation until next year la kot.

As for today, I'll be leaving in 1-2 hours for another assessment thingy. Today to Gua musang, Kelantan. Tomorrow to Terengganu and I'll be back in Putrajaya on Wednesday. This would be the last ones outstation ones la. After this we'll be rounding the agencies around Putrajaya and Klang Valley. So I'll see you guys in Thursday la.

Cerita Kedah

As planned earlier, we (the panellist) went to Alor Setar, Kedah for another round of assessment. Left Putrajaya on Monday morning and reached Alor Star around 4pm. The weather was cloudy that it felt like we're still in the morning all the way. This time the topic of discussion while on the road was about food. The best place to eat at every state and some famous dishes. It makes me drooling over aje tau.     

I used to like the view along the PLUS highway to north but it seems that development has taken over all the beautiful view of paddy field. Some has changed into housing areas and some into fish pond.  Acres and acres of what used to be a paddy field are now a pond for ikan kelisa. Tsk.... Easy money huh. In near future, Kedah Negeri Jelapang Padi will become history. Jelapang Padi? What's that?

Anyway, I craved for the famous laksa Teluk Kechai so after checking in and what not, we went to find the famous stall. The verdict; just so-so la. I wonder apalah yang sedap sangat sampai famous sangat tu. The kuah so cair and not like laksa that I used to eat everywhere else. Nevertheless I wallop everything. Lapar ok. Besides laksa, we had satay also. When Kak Nani ordered 60pc everyone macam terkejut je. Takut tak mampu makan nanti.  In the end we finished every single piece of it with yours truly ate 10pc alone. Gila ah. In my defence, the satay was so thin la and thats why can eat 10pc. Kalau satay Haji Samuri 5pc pun dah full gila.

Later my cousin Nina picked me from hotel and off we go to her house; my Pak Teh's (Mak younger bro). I had my dinner there but didn't eat much coz the blisters in my mouth were getting worse. Very painful I tell you. Anyway, I was looking for asam jawa and asam keping so Mak Teh brought me to night market but nothing much of asam keping left so bought 12 pack of asam jawa and some asam keping. Around midnight Pak Teh sent me back to hotel. That night was another sleepless night for me. Duh! Envy those who can just sleep everywhere.   

Tuesday morning after breakfast we went to do our job until lunch time. One of the best thing about going to our agency is their hospitality especially on serving foods. Memang terbaik dari ladanglah. We had our lunch at one of the best restaurant there. (Kylnn; it was kedai dalam hutan ok). I had so much food that my tummy felt so stretch out. Before going back we stop by at Pekan Rabu first. I bought some ikan pekasam, asam keping, pulut hitam, gula gerek and few other stuff. Gigih memborong ok.

The journey back was better than the day before. Thanks to the great weather. Since everyone had full tummy, gerak je kereta semua pun dozed off. Tinggallah driver drive sensorang. Hehehe..... Stop by at Tapah for a short break and reached home around 7.30pm. Alhamdulillah.....

As for today, I'm going back to Kuantan until Sunday. Monday will travel to Kelantan, Tuesday to Terengganu and will come back on Wednesday. Amik nak.... berjalan aje. Fuh! And then another week will travel to Kuantan again for raya haji. November is my bulan jalan-jalan satu Malaya. Hehehe....

Charity Walk in Support of World Hunger Relief 2010

Aduh potong stim betul la Google ni. I've reached the my maximum capacity of my picasa web album usage already so I thought of buying the extra storage. Tapi until today transaction asyik decline aje. Not from the bank here but from Google. Cerita tanpa gambar macam tak best la pulak. Ish.... Takkan la nak create new blog kot. Rasa kurang semangat je nak update. Padahal ada banyak je cerita best nak cerita ni. So for the time being baca cerita tanpa gambar ajelah ye. Hehehe....

Anyway I had a fun-filled weekend, mostly on Saturday night la. Saturday morning after selesai all the house chores I keluar lunch with Rehan. Ingatkan nak makan nasi KK kat Kajang sekali dah sampai sana tutup la pulak. So patah balik ke Putrajaya and we had our lunch at Burger King Alamanda. Jalan-jalan lebih kurang pastu rushing balik rumah sebab the charity walk started at 3pm. Masa tu dah dekat pukul 3pm pun. Hantar Rehan pastu balik and tukar pakai sport attire. Hari pun dah start hujan. I janji nak pegi ngan Khairil so tunggu la pakcik tu datang. Kemain lama. Dekat pukul 4 baru sampai. Since lokasi event adalah within walking distance from my place so berjalan kaki lah kami berdua. Leen yang janji nak gerak sama masih tak nampak batang hidung. I siap bawak payung lagi tapi tak guna pun.

Sampai sana terus queue untuk ambil baju. Tukar baju and terus ke surau. Edwin, another Lin and Ana dah ada kat sana. This time around ramai betul staff KKLW. Meriah sangat. Paling best Anis pun ada. Siap bawak Akil lagi. Walaupun Akil tak sihat, asyik muntah-muntah aje tapi dia tak meragam. Diam aje. Sian pulak tengok member terbaring dalam stroller tu. Mesti dia lemah tu sebab muntah-muntah kan. Kalau tak jangan harap la kot nak duduk diam aje dalam stroller tu. Fatahah and Ilkil and Nayli yang super cute pun ada. Eeee geram aje ngan budak comel dua orang ni. Pasni Fatahah gi DPA mesti tak de chance nak jumpa diorang dah. KKLW Junior yang lain ialah Ammar; son of Cik Na from finance, Hasya; daughter of Intan and Hanafi and alamak sape pulak nama anak Siti ni. Ish terlupa la pulak..... Ramai betul kanak-kanak. Memang meriah la. Tapi I rasa tak de pulak gambar dengan semua KKLW Runners. 

Ada 3 choices of dinner yang disediakan; KFC, Pizza Hut and Rasa Mas. I opt for Pizza Hut. Dapat la one slice of large pizza tapi nak beratur punyalah lama. Edwin yang tolong beraturkan. Thanks for that. Around 6pm barulah flag off. Oh before flag off ada aerobic session untuk warming up. Tengah syok-syok beraerobic, Akil muntah lagi. Kali ni banyak gila. Habis baju and stroller dia. Member diam aje. Kesian betul lah. Macam kita la, kalau muntah-muntah and cirit-birit kan macam tak de tenaga je nak buat apa pun. I guess he was like that la. Tak larat so tu pasal diam aje. Sikit pun tak nangis. I was so excited to have Anis joining me in the walk so I yang terover pegang stroller si Akil. Paling tak tahan siap lari-lari lagi. Nak-nak bila terserempak dengan Intan and Hasya. Siap main kejar-kejar ok. Kejar-kejar dengan stoller. Memang lawak la. Orang pun pelik je tengok kitorang main kejar-kejar. It was so much fun to have kids around. Sok kalau I ada anak I pun nak bawak diorang join sama la. Unfortunately since Akil tak sihat, Anis joined sampai 3km je so from the 3km u-turn, I jalan la sorang-sorang. Bila dah sorang jalan pun laju aje. I tengok ramai yang berhenti kat kiri kanan jalan untuk bergambar tapi I malas la. Jalan terus aje sampai finishing line.

Managed to reach finishing line around 7 something. Lepas amik goody beg sume we all lepak ramai-ramai kat atas rumput depan dataran tu. Macam berpiknik aje. Orang lain pun ramai jugak. Masa tengah berjalan tu I dengar announcement kata around 9pm macam tu diorang akan edarkan goody bag special. Pastu ada concert Ramli Sarip. Since I don't have anything much to do, malam minggu plak tu so I lepak aje terus sampai malam. Mula-mula ramai tapi around 8.45pm macam tu Intan and family, Siti and family, Shafarid and ramai lagi dah gerak balik. Edwin and the geng pulak ke Alamanda untuk membeli barang. So tinggallah I and Khairil melepak berdua. 

Meriah jugak persembahan malam tu. Ada silat dari tentera, ada tarian budak sekolah, ada Wakaka Dancer, ada Jalil Hamid and paling best sekali sudah tentulah Ramli Sarip. Masa Ramli Sarip buat show, I and Khairil lepak tepi jalan betul-betul depan screen besar. Malas nak duduk kat depan stage. Later Edwin and the geng datang join sama. Leen pun datang with her sister and nephew. Masa tu diorang dah start edarkan goody bag. Ingatkan apalah yang special rupanya goody bag petang tu ada banyak extra so diorang edarkan balik pada semua. Apa lagi kitorang pakat beratur la amik lagi. Goody bag kali ni paling best sebab barang-barang dia best and tak la yang dah dekat nak expired. Ada Nestle Cheerios kotak besar, Lipton Mik Tea 20+5 pack and ada air Milo sekotak and air Revive setin. Dalam fridge kat rumah tu dah penuh dengan canned drinks collected during event-event larian ni. Hehehe....

Around 10pm macam tu selesai la persembahan Ramli Sarip and on the way nak balik tu kami lalu kat khemah makan untuk VVIP. Murah rezeki kami sebab staff Rasa Mas invited us to makan-makan kat situ. Sebenarnya perut dah kenyang tapi belasah aje lah. Sangat la defeat the purpose of walk in support of world hunger. Sebelum berjalan I dah kenyang makan Burger King. Sambil tengok show Ramli Sarip I makan Big Apple donuts. Pastu makan ayam percik la apa la. Balik dengan full tummy la. Dah berjalan sambil bawak goody bag yang berat pun perut masih penuh lagi. Balik mandi and terus tido dengan perut yang kekenyangan. Ish..ish..ish...

This October I managed to join 3 events. November ni so far baru satu yang I dah confirmkan. Ingat nak join Terry Fox Run on 7th November kat Lake Garden. Tapi tak jadi la pulak sebab malam esok sampai ahad nak balik Kuantan ngan Bang Long. So satu jelah kot event for November. I target nak at least 3 event sebulan. Kalau tak de event memang malas aje nak berlari ke berjalan ke. Kena tunggu event baru rajin. Hehehe.... Anyway, the charity walk adalah sangat best kerana begitu ramai muka baru dari KKLW yang muncul. Pasni ada chance la nak buat official club. Best kan. So sape yang belum join tu jom ramai-ramai kita meriahkan suasana berlari di hujung minggu this 13th November for Putrajaya Global Diebetes Walk 2010. Tempat masih sama, kat depan Palace of Justice. See you there.....
