Pecah rumah

Lepas Isya’ semalam, pengerusi surau ada la buat announcement sket. Tau tak dah ada 3 kes pecah rumah kat apartment I tu. Wah ini sungguh merisaukan. Since I live alone, I would be an easy target for them kan. Takutnya. Hanya pada Allah lah tempat untuk memohon perlindungan. Mudah-mudahan dijauhkan orang yang berniat jahat tu from me and mi casa. Lagipun tak de ape kat rumah tu yang berharga sangat pun. Tapi kalo dah pencuri ni, semua benda kira berharga. Iye dak.

Bulan Ramadhan pun ade orang yang nak buat kerja-kerja terkutuk ni. Kok ye pun jahat, amik la kesempatan di bulan yang mulia ni untuk insaf, bertaubat dan memohon keampunan dari yang maha Esa.

Macam kes kat Shah Alam hari tu kan. Sempat lagi nak merompak dalam pada orang dok bersahur tu. Dah la merompak, bunuh plak mangsa tu. And penjahat ni kalo tengok namanya, Islam la kan. Kalo orang Islam sendiri tak menghormati bulan Ramadhan, orang bukan Islam apatah lagi kan.

Amin...

Rapatkan saf

Semalam as usual I had my Isya’ and terawih prayer kat surau area rumah I tu. Oh surau tu dah ada nama dah. Surau Al-Istiqamah. Ok I bukan nak cerita pasal nama surau tu tapi nak cerita pasal sorang jemaah ni. Tapi kira macam berdosa pulak I mengumpat di bulan Ramadhan ni kan. Tak pe ni kira sebagai peringatan for me and for all reader gak.

This mak cik, let say nama dia Mak Cik A, pangkat macam nenek pun ye gak sebab sudah begitu tua rupanya, adalah jemaah yang selalu I jumpa kat surau tu. Sometimes duduk sebelah je masa dalam saf tapi dia ni nampak macam tak mesra. Selalunya lepas solat mestilah kita salam orang sebelah kita kan. Normally I would look the person in the eyes and smiles sambil bersalam tu but this mak cik never return my smiles. Ok tak pe lagi coz sukahati dia la kan nak senyum balik atau tidak. Tapi sebagai manusia biasa, I tak dapat lari dari melabelkan mak cik ni sebagai sombong.

Then semalam as the other day jugak, she sat on my right side. At my left plak, the same mak cik as kelmarin jugak, Mak Cik B. So as the imam nak mulakan solat, the jemaah kenalah rapatkan saf kan. I pun rapatlah ke kanan. Mak Cik B pun rapat kat I jugak. Tapi semalam macam sempit sikit sebab boleh rasa siku bertemu siku, at my both side. Tak pelah nak buat camane kan.

Yang tak tahan tu, I boleh rasa this Mak Cik A, tolak I masa tengah solat. Bukan lah tolak sampai I jatuh ke ape tapi I boleh rasa yang sebelah kanan tu rasa berat semacam. Sabar lagi ni. Tapi kira dah tak kusyuk dah dalam solat kan. Lepas je terawih 2 rakaat tu, this Mak Cik A pegi amik sejadah and bentang kat sebelah current sejadah and stand jauh sikit from me. I felt insulted dah masa ni tapi lantak lah kan.

Cuma I rasa macam nak sound je mak cik ni. “Mak cik, kalo solat jemaah, kenalah rapatkan saf ni. Kalau terputus tu, nanti putuslah jemaah tu. Lagipun syaitan suka je duduk kat celah-celah ni menggangu konsentrasi kita dalam bersolat” Tapi nanti dia kata kurang ajar la plak kan. So I biarkan aje dia dok sorang-sorang tu, Tak kuasa nak rapat kat dia dah.

This mak cik is not the only one. I selalu tengok bila solat berjemaah, orang tak nak rapatkan saf. I ni bukan lah ustazah ke apa but at least I know that saf tu kena lah rapatkan. Kalo ada tempat kosong tu kenalah penuhkan. Saf tu kena penuhkan ke kanan, bukan ke kiri.

But from my experience, I tengok orang mesti tak nak rapatkan, takut tak selesa lah tu. Pastu kalo ada ruang kosong, susah sangat nak diisi. Siap kena pangil-panggil lagi. Nak-nak yang jenis bawak sejadah sendiri. Diorang nak stay kat sejadah dia jugak walaupun kat kanan atau depan tu ada kosong.

Apa nak jadilah dengan orang zaman sekarang. Hal-hal macam ni pun tak nak bagi kerjasama. Sume pentingkan diri sendiri saje. Nak tegur, I pun bukan lah ustazah ke ape and tak nak lah nanti diorang tersinggung ke apa. Tapi bila tak tegur, hati rasa tak tenang. Macam mana ek? Normally memang I biarkan aje diorang ni. Tapi makin lama rasa makin tak senang.

Moral of the story : Kalo solat berjemaah tu, silalah penuhkan saf-saf tu.

Mental note : Mulai malam ni, got to stay away from that mak cik. Nanti tak tenang plak hati bila bersolat. Maklumlah… I nikan super duper sensitive. Benda macam ni pun nak kecik hati. Ntah apa-apa ntah la manusia bernama Eny ni.

TV oh TV

Sejak bila TV jadi pra-syarat utama yang menentukan sesebuah rumah tu sesuai untuk dilawati/dikunjungi? Apa dah jadi dengan orang zaman sekarang? It hurts me when every times I invite someone to come over to my place; the response that I get was “rumah ko ada TV tak?” I don’t have TV *yet*, so? Apa salahnya tak de TV? Been living without TV for 2 month and there’s nothing wrong with me so far. I’m still happy the way I am when I have TV around me.

Now I’m being sceptical whether I should organize the house warming that some of my friend have been pestering me for so many time. Bukan ape, kang buat kang pastu tak de sape nak datang. Dah tu kalo datang pun dok kutuk-kutuk my house. Tak ke sedih jadinya. Orang buat makan-makan sebab nak lepak-lepak ngan member, makan-makan, gossip-gossip. Bukan nak tengok TV, iye tak.

So kepada sesiapa yang berkenaan, lepas raya ni I nak buatlah PROGRAM JOM MASAK, MAKAN & GOSSIP kat umah I yang tak de ape-ape tu. So sape yang tak kisah datang rumah orang yang tak de TV ni and duduk pun atas lantai aje, maka silalah kemukakan idea-idea bernas korang untuk memastikan program ini akan dapat dilaksanakan dengan jayanya. Maklumlah, I ni bukannya penah buat program-program macam ni so sangatlah memerlukan sumbangan idea dari kawan-kawan sekalian. Tu pun kalo sudi nak datang kat umah yang sekali lagi I tekankan, tiada TV dan duduk pun atas lantai sahaja. Sekian harap maklum.

Adegan tolak-menolak

Semalam, masa nak balik, I saw this.

Argh geramnya. Dah la puasa. Pastu nak kene tolak 2 kereta pulak tu; Viva and Avanza. Viva tu ok lah lagi sebab kecik. Avanza tu, puas la I tolak tapi tak gerak-gerak. Temperature pun naik lah kan. Tak pasal-pasal terkeluar b****h. Ish kurang pahala puasa. Bengang betoi. I’m not the type yang suka cursed or anything but when I said that “b” word maknanya memang marah gila lah tu. Dah tau kereta besar, jangan lah block kereta orang. Pegilah cari parking kat tempat lain.

Last time pun macam tu. Masa tu I just got the news of Tok Ngah death so was rushing home sebab nak pegi ke rumah arwah. Tetiba bila sampai je kat kereta, tengok dah ada kereta lain blocked kereta I. Bukan 1 tapi 5 in a row ok. One of it van yang besar gedabak. Yang paling tak tahannya kereta yang paling depan and belakang sekali tu, tarik hand break. Ya Allah tuhan saja yang maha mengetahui my feeling masa tu.

Dengan sepenuh kudrat yang ada, I try to tolak 3 kereta in the middle tu and squeeze some space for my car. Ntah berapa kali keluar masuk kereta dah masa tu sampai I fed-up. Mendidih je rasa darah ni. Nak nangis pun ada masa tu. So I ingat nak pegi cari security untuk buat announcement ke apa. Nasib baik ada satu hamba Allah ni datang and tolong bagi direction sampailah kereta I berjaya keluar. See Allah melihat kesusahan hamba-Nya and terus hantar pertolongan. Alhamdulillah.

Tapi ada jugak cerita lawak pasal tolak-tolak kereta ni. Ada sekali tu, I tengah tunggu En. Afnan kat basement parking. Masa tu dah siap tukar pakai baju sukan lah kan sebab nak pergi berjogging. Gila semangat weh! Pastu I ternampak la ada satu mamat ni dok tolak kereta Proton Wira kalau tak silap. Puas dia tolak tapi tak gerak-gerak. Lama jugak la I tengok. So takkan tengok je kan. Kesian la pulak tapi dalam hati masih berkira-kira nak tolong ke tidak. Bukan apa I tak nak la mamat ni malu ke apa kan. Tapi tak boleh jadik ni. Kesian beb. Puas dia tolak tak gerak-gerak so I pun keluar dari kereta and offered to help.

Sekali I tolak terus bergerak kereta tu. Dalam hati mesti mamat ni kata “pergh hebat jugak minah ni walaupun kecik. Mesti kuat bersukan ni”. Agaknya lah kan, tak sure la sebenarnya dia kata apa tapi dia senyum tersipu-sipu. Hahaha lawak-lawak.

Ok back to my story semalam. Dah puas tolak tak gerak-gerak, I tunggu la kot-kot tuannya nak datang kan. Tapi hampeh. Pastu I ternampak ada sorang minah ni. So I melambai-lambai la kat dia nak mintak tolong. Sekali dia geleng-geleng kepala daa. Wei orang nak mintak tolong la bukan kata ni kereta dia. Sabar lagi ni. I pun pegi la dekat sikit and cakap “ nak mintak tolong tolak kereta ni boleh?” Nasib baik dia ok. So selamat lah kitorang menolak kereta tu.

Fuh lega.

Moral of the story : kepada sesiapa yang terasa macam kereta dia besar tu, silalah jangan block parking demi untuk kesejahteraan ummah. (read: orang tak menyumpah seranah dan dosa dapat dikurangkan)

2nd week of Ramadhan

For my 2nd week of Ramadhan, I had most of my Iftar with Radin. On Tuesday, we had our Iftar at Kenny Rogers Equine; courtesy of En. Afnan. Then gilir-gilir; either at my place or Radin’s place. Actually I tak puasa pun on that week *that’s why la boleh makan kat luar tu*. But still macam puasa jugak. Pagi kena bangun sahur and dinner pun timing yang sama dengan waktu berbuka.

On Friday Hanim nak datang and I pun dah start puasa balik so masak dengan seronoknya. I cook simple dishes only mostly vege’s la kan. *yes I enjoys cooking now albeit the limitation on stuff that I can work on with* Lepas berbuka as usual lah pegi terawih. Hanim pun join sama.

Saturday tu tak ke mana sangat pun. Kemas rumah, then pegi Mydin baru kat Precint Diplomatik tu. Tak de la best sangat pun tapi sebab dah pegi, beli la jugak air 2-3 tin. Then ke Cold Storage for my chocolate mint ice-cream *tak sempat lagi nak makan pun*. Last stop ke bazaar Ramadhan. Pun tak beli apa-apa sangat, beli air soya and kuih tepung pelita yang sangat sedap tu. Hanim yang banyak membeli. Ntah la this Ramadhan I macam tak de la excited sangat nak membeli makanan yang lazat-lazat kat bazaar tu. Lagipun I kalau puasa memang makan ala kadar je. Berbuka and sahur je. Lepas terawih jarang nak makan lagi kecuali kalau ada orang ajak join makan. Balik rumah I cook while Hanim tertido. Lepas terawih, macam biasa la berborak sampai kul berapa ntah.

On Sunday, while Hanim still sleeping I dah start mengemas rumah lagi. Actually rumah I ni tak de la bersepah pun but being an OCD, I memang kena pastikan my stuff are neatly put away at the right place. So biasalah kan, susun apa yang patut, lap-lap sikit, kemas ni kemas tu. Hanim gerak balik dalam kul 11.

Masa kat Mydin tu I ada beli sewing kit. Ingat nak jahit la tilam yang terkoyak tu. Tapi excited punya pasal, melarat jahit sarung bantal plak. Hmm seronok jugak menjahit ni. Tapi tak de la cantik pun I jahit. Asalkan terjahit sudah la kan.

In between menjahit tu, I dok bersms dengan Radin pasal nak berbuka. Tiba-tiba Min call ajak berbuka sesame. Mula-mula macam tak nak pegi sebab kesian kat Radin. Sekali member masih tak puasa daaaa. So oklah I confirm berbuka kat rumah Min. Ingat nak pegi terawih kat sana so mesti lewat nanti nak balik kan. Apalagi, sleep over terus la kan. So I iron baju for the whole week, then tido from 2.30pm sampai 5pm. Lepas Asar, pack apa patut then terus gerak ke rumah Min.

Min masak ayam masak lemak cili api. Sedap beb. And beberapa juadah lain. Tapi I serang masak lemak tu je coz udang tu boleh kata hari-hari makan kan. Pegi terawih dengan Fad and Dayah, housemate Min, batchmate I jugak. Borak-borak sambil Min buat keje then tido. Pagi ni buat pertama kalinya, bersahur dengan Min and the geng. Normally sahur sorang-sorang aje. Seronok kan. Thanks Min for the invitation. I had a great time and great meals too.

Hmm sedar tak sedar dah 2 minggu berpuasa kan. Begitu cepat masa berlalu. This week pastu next week dah boleh balik umah. Yeay tak sabarnya. Hari ni masak ape untuk berbuka ye? Telur dadar and sayur aje kot. Tak sure lagi.

Kuih raya

I got this sudden craving for pineapple tart since early of Ramadhan but couldn’t find the small package ones. Nak beli yang besar takut tak sedap; nanti sape pulak nak ngabihkan, Mana ek nak cari tart nenas yang saaaangat sedap?

Btw, korang sume dah start tempah kuih raya? So apa favourite kuih raya korang? Mine; tart nenas, almond london, cornflakes madu, sarang semut, biskut kacang, semperit, bahulu dan macam-macam lagi lah.

Suka banyak lagi tapi tak tau nama. Tau makan aje. Hehehe… During Raya, menu wajib are ketupat nasi *or nasi himpit* and pulut, kuah kacang, rendang, lemang, kek coklat, kek oren dan biskut-biskut raya.

Dulu-dulu Mak buat ketupat nasi, Abah buat ketupat pulut. Tapi sekarang dah tak buat ketupat nasi dah sebab leceh nak menganyam. Buat nasi himpit je. Senang sket. Ketupat pulut pulak, Abah conquer buat sorang-sorang je sampai la sume anak-anak dah besar ni. Sorang pun tak de yang reti nak buat. Tapi start last year, Taha dah reti buat ketupat pulut so Abah dah ada geng. Hampeh punya anak-anak kan. Punya lah ramai tapi sorang je yang reti buat.

Dulu kek-kek ni Mak yang buat tapi sejak dah besar ni, Jannah yang buat. Siti pun pandai buat kek jugak. Akak pun nampak gayanya dah pandai jugak. Ni kakak yang paling tua ni jugak yang tak reti-reti nak buat kuih raya. Yaelah sume pakat pulun masak sape nak kemas rumah kan. So sejak dari dulu, kini dan tak tau la sampai bila, bab-bab kemas ni, I yang conquer.

Favourite menu masa pagi raya sudah tentulah nasi himpit + kuah kacang, ketupat pulut + rendang daging, kek coklat and kek oren. Yang lain-lain tu makan time bosan aje or sambil layan tetamu. But seriously kalo bab ketupat, rendang and kuah kacang, makan tak henti-henti sampai la tamat riwayat kewujudan makanan tu dalam umah. Konon-konon puasa boleh la turun sket kan, tak de maknanya kalo bila raya melantak tak hengat.

Hmmm banyak la plak keje ni. Sambung nanti on my weekend updates wokeh.

Friends of mine

Suddenly I miss those few close friends that I had during my uni days. So I called Yuzi, Suri & Ana. But Ana was busy so have to call her later. Wah I didn’t realised that I miss them so much till the calls. Suri was reminiscing our uni days and I miss them more. They were burning the midnight oil revising for exam while I slept. *yup staying up late doing revisions is so not me back then*. And yet my result was better than them. Well thanks to their note, managed to catch few things here and there just enough for me to pass the exam. Thank you girls. I owe you one.

Oh I can still remember Suri’s colourful love story with A* and her hubby now. I can even remember the green J&J lotion that she used *while typing this, the image of Suri applying the lotion to her hair flashes back*. Did you remember the account tuition that I gave you Suri? Boy it was fun then. And you did pass your accounts paper right. The gang was quite big that everyone was paired up; Suri & Pah, Ana & Baya while Syam & Laila. As for me, I just joined any pair that I felt like joining.

Yuzi was in the other gang. She’s with Yanti. Well the 3 of us was so adventurous that we did so many unthinkable acts together. The most remembered one was when we had to walk more than 10km, during Ramadhan and me wearing baju kurung some more coz we board the wrong bus. The amount of honking that we received; enough to make the ear go deaf for a moment.

Can’t wait to see them all again. Last times we hang out together was in 2002 and never see them again after that. Everyone was busy starting the new life I guess. So gonna plan a hang out session near future. Maybe in Putrajaya or Shah Alam; the place where it all started.

They would always envy me for having this so-called famous job but everyone is blessed in their own way. There’s nothing special in my job compared to them. Plus, you girls are happily married with kids on your own right and here I am still struggling on my own. Are we happy with our life? Yes? Well in the end that the stuff that matter. Not how good your job is or who your hubby is or how many kids you have.

I am happy the way I am *despite the ups and downs stumbled upon me along the way* and still love you girls the same. Can hardly wait for the reunions la… so eager already. Err actually a bit shy la to meet you girls since I’ve gained so much weight since our last meeting. Hehehe…

1st week of Ramadhan

This year mark the 1st time of me having to fast alone. I was alone eating my berbuka and bersahur meals. Well except on the 1st day where I had Hanim as my berbuka partner and on Saturday where I had the whole bunch of Sidang ‘F’mate for berbuka. I’ll talk about that later ok. Let me update on my weekend first.

No matter how I plan to prolong my sleep, I will still wake up early especially when I’m alone. Maybe because I’m on my own so can’t rely on Mak or Abah or my siblings to do things for me right. It’s either me doing it or it’s not going to be done at all. So wake up early on Saturday and started cleaning the house. Clean up both bathroom and kitchen. Then proceed to rearrange the wardrobe. Settled everything by noon. After shower, went to Equine Park to purchase the washing machine that I’ve been aiming for quite some time. In the end, I bought Samsung models instead of the Toshiba ones. What ever… as long as I don’t have to do my laundry manually anymore.

I was planning to buy some groceries at Carrefour but end up buying it at Jusco instead. Since Eman don’t have any wok to use so got to buy it for him. Luckily he has this caring lady *or busybody ones?* as big sister. Was asking him about the seafood that he took home. Did he cook it? Then only he sheepishly admitted that he don’t have any wok. Hehehe…

It took me the whole evening there. Hmm I think I kind of enjoy shopping alone nowadays. I can either do it as fast as I want or just stay there lingering at everything or anything. Bought 2 woks for him and some few stuff for my home. After passing the wok to Eman, went to bazaar Ramadhan at P2 first before heading straight home.

Was invited for berbuka at Wan Maisarah place at level 6 so no cooking on Saturday. I thought there would be only a few people. Imagine my surprise when the door opened and there were the whole bunch of Sidang ‘F’mate there. I was blushing feverishly that few friend keep on asking me, “Eny, kenapa muka ko merah sangat ni?” See I’m still the same old sheepishly shy Eny despite being regarded as the confident lady by some colleague. Some things are hard to change right. Hehehe…. Luckily there’s some familiar faces; Nora, Mimi, Cam, (mind you, these are guys), Wan and a few more. They were the one who keep me company.

The amount of food, uncountable. So happy having someone to eat together that I keep on munching food till was being teased by Mimi and Wan. But when I stop, Nora keep pushing some cuppies, desert and whatnot. In between eating and gossiping, managed to slip out a while to receive the washing machine. Later on the guys wanted to see my new place so bring them for a tour. Eny and 3 guys inside her home and errr bedroom too. Fuh I’m so glad nothing bad happen. Who knows some busy body neighbour might report to JAKIM telling them that I had wild party whatsoever. Hehehe we can never knows right. Luckily I did my housecleaning thingy before went out today. Not that my house was dirty whatsoever just that it’s cleaner than before. Hehehe…

We (me, Nora, Mimi, Cam & Wan) were the last to leave. Thanks Wan (the other Wan ok) for the great food and time. Hope we can arrange this more. On Sunday, my plan to met Hanim at Matta fair was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. I’m not feeling ok that day so just stay at my bed watching movie back to back for the whole day. And yes did my laundry using the new machine. I like!

Hanim

Right before Ramadhan, I went back to Kuantan with Eman & Hanim. Hanim is one of my ex-schoolmate that I still had contact with. Been to so many school thus had too many schoolmate that to keep in contact with each and everyone is deem impossible so for those who are still in my contact list, you’re lucky ok. *read: precious friend to me* She’s in the brilliant class while me in the well … hehehe… *wink wink*. We had our bath, meals, outing and going home to Kuantan together. Back then, I was so weak in my Math subject. It was Hanim who tutored me; while she did the difficult question, she still had time to teach me the basic things. Yup my Math was so bad that I had to start from basic ok.

We separated after form 3. Both of us did our upper secondary at Kuantan but at different school. This time it’s a daily school. Being a brilliant student, she went to a good school in town while I did mine at a school near my home. But we still keep contacting each other. Back then there’s no email nor smsing stuff so we did it via then conventional way; the snail mail. Writing letter was one of my hobbies back then so I wrote tonnes of letter to her. Guess the letters were lost when I moved to the new home.
*Did you still keep mine Hanim?*

Right after SPM, we stopped writing letters. Did my diploma and degree at UiTM Shah Alam while she did her engineering degree at UTM Skudai and we lost contact till we grad. One day, I had nothing to do and I’m bored. And I miss my friend too. So I took the directory book and started looking for her number. Managed to trace her home telephone number and gave her a call. After all this year, yes she was surprised at first but thanks to me and the directory; we are still friend till today.

She’s an engineer now; working with Lotus before joining Proton. She spent all day long with all males colleague and yet she still don’t have boyfriend. So, it’s no surprise for me who works in an area where ladies dominates and couldn’t find anyone that sparks my interest. All the good man are taken while the still available ones, way too young for me. Ok back to her story. She got this new interest; globetrotting. She did it backpacking way and its cheap ok. So far she’s been to South East Asian countries, Taiwan and Korea. If only I can do that too…. But with all my financials commitment now, I think that plan has to be put at ermm maybe the last page at my list of things to do.

And thanks to her career at Proton, she went to do her designing thingy at Korea for 2 month. 2 whole months ok. And I didn’t know about this till recently due to my DPA course. But at least I got some cute key chains. She’s scheduled to go again and this time around, maybe can ask her for some brooch. Hehehe…Don’t have photo’s of her to show but we’re plan to berbuka together again so maybe might post some photo’s later.

At home, I managed to pack tonnes of unused clothes that are still in wearing condition. So if anyone knows where I can give this away, please inform me ok. And Mak bought tonnes of fresh fish, squid and shrimps for me and Eman. Such a good support on my effort to polish my cooking skill. Love you mom!

Of merdeka and patriotism

Haven’t posted anything in here for quite a while. Been busy with so many thing plus the internet connection at office was down for a few days. Too many things to write and yet not really in the mood. Nothing wrong just that the big meeting is due again and as usual, paper works, follow-up calls *that will normally rise the anger meter*, datelines bla bla bla.

Let start with Merdeka celebration. For the 1st time, I don’t really feel the celebration mood. Not only me but most of my friend felt the same too. Ministers, politician & certain peoples *who may have some interest* are more focused on the political agenda of BN and PR. The by-election at Permatang Pauh was given the utmost attention, thus the 51st anniversary of our independence was being ignored. As for the normal citizen like me, we’re more focused on the hiking price of everything, money matters, works, losing weight, fashions, artistes and so much more. There’s no more space for patriotism. Pathetic huh.

However, my department joining venture with BTN *Biro Tatanegara*, managed to play the “Hati Malaya” film for everyone *in this ministry of course* on 28th August. Being the working committee, I was so busy running here and there but still managed to slip thru in the auditorium to watch it. I cried sheepishly watching this movie; not only because I was touched with what I watched but because of current situation of our country.

Peoples are fighting for their own interest, money can buy the pride and honour and the worst part, Malaysian hates being Malaysian. I read somewhere in the net, just because Avril Lavigne was rumoured not to be allowed performing in Malaysia, this stupid Malaysia posted “I’m a Malaysian but Malaysia’s sucks” for everyone in the world to read. If he/she can find any other country like Malaysia, then go packed the stuff and get the hell out of here. Malaysian today seems to care less about the country. Do they think what we got today came just by snapping the finger?

Thousands or millions *if we count since the Sultanate of Malacca era* of people died fighting for this country and here we are destroying everything. We love everything that is not made in Malaysia. Malaysia is always not good enough for us. As for me, having such a high patriotism spirit in me is still not enough when choosing to use English as the main medium in this blog. Yup my bad. I’m sorry for using more English than BM here. Not that I hates BM just that I wish to improve my English so please forgive me.

Ok back to my main point. Why does Malaysian today have no patriotism? Or lacked of it? When preparing for the “Hati Malaya” event, I saw some of the staff stepping on the flag with no feelings. Excuse me but that’s our national flag so we should show some respect right. I’m not really good in history subject but still there’s so many heroes that we should remember every time we mention about independence. Yes Tunku Abdul Rahman is the “Bapa Kemerdekaan” but without those who lost their soul fighting for the country, I don’t think Tunku will have the chance to do what he did.

There’re so many unsung heroes that was not mentioned in history text book or any articles. Only leaders are known like Tok Janggut, Dato’ Bahaman, Tok Gajah & Mat Kilau, just to name a few. This leader and their man fought with British. And not forgetting, those who fought with the Portuguese, Holland and Japanese too. These people are the son, husband, father, brother and uncle to Malaysian. Who knows they were our kin. But they never had the opportunities to enjoy what we had today. Without them, I don’t think we can have what we have now and I won’t be writing this blog too.

So, to all heroes who had fought bravely and fearlessly for this country; there’s no word that can describe how grateful I am for all your contribution. Thank you so much. Al-Fatihah and may your soul rest in peace. As for the others, Malaysia is our only place, our only hope for life so love it and let us unite *keep away all sentiment and racism* for the future of our kids. May Allah bless our country with peace & harmony and stability in all aspect. Amin
